Problems Downloading, Installing, Starting Ezvid?

If, after download, you get an error like: “Unable to execute file: C:\Program Files (x86)\ezvid\ezvid.exe” or “Unable to execute file: C:\Program Files (x86)\ezvid\ezvid.exe CreateProcess failed; Code 2. The system cannot find the file specified.”

….this means that your internet connection failed during the download process. First, please try downloading and installing Ezvid again. If you see the same error, download and install this installation patch. Note that after you run it, it will seem that “nothing has happened” However, you should then be able to Ezvid on your computer.

More tips:

Do not attempt to move the Ezvid application to another computer or USB drive. Ezvid is not portable.

Are you having problems during the downloading stage of the installation? For example, and “error reading URL” or “The Operation Timed Out”? First, be sure that your internet speed is OK. Test your internet speed using a tool like this. Look carefully at your download speed. Usually the best solution if you can’t download it is to try again from a stronger internet connection, or wait 30 minutes and try again.

Ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements. If you are running Windows XP, are you sure that you have Service Pack 3 (SP3) installed? Please see here to learn how to find out.

Run Windows Update and restart your computer

Even if you were able to successfully download Ezvid, you might find that your problem is due to a corrupt installation. So reinstall ezvid again

If you get an error message about “Directx” or “WPFMediaKit” problems of any kind, try to set your hardware acceleration to FULL. Here are directions for Windows XP, and Windows 7, and Windows Vista.
