Hi. Hada few failed attempts at getting a video t upload this week. it goes through all the rendering fine but stops each time at about 10% of the final upload. Will download the latest update and see if things improve. WIll update you when done.
yeah - even with most recent software we seem to have an issue uploading to you tube now. error is as follows (!) The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.
Greetings, That error indicates that you are using some special characters that YouTube does not like inside of either your: Title, Description, or Keywords.
Per YouTube: "400 (Bad request) - A 400 response code indicates that a request was poorly formed or contained invalid data. For example, the API would return a 400 response code if your request contained poorly formed XML or if you tried to submit keywords containing invalid characters."
Please try removing any special characters from your video Title, Description, and Keywords and then upload again.
Sounds like you have found a bug. If the title and keyword fields are empty, ezvid should warn you before it even attempts to render and upload the video, that you need to fill those fields in. So for some reason, ezvid is not validating the fields on your computer. We will look in to this for the next release.
Please try typing something in those fields--- Title: No special characters, at least 4 characters Keywords: At least one word, all words must be 4 characters or more. No special characters.
Then, try uploading again.
Sorry about the trouble, please let me know if that works.
Hi Dan - thanks for your continual words of advice. This morning we attempted a re-upload with just a few words on each line and it has worked perfectly well. It is a bit odd as I did try this last week without success. Something I just realised we were doing is, the video we were trying to upload (1'30) was a file we recovered from a hidden "back up" to a file on our ezvid folder so we retieved this, though it appears as one file (not the individual slides) and I thought maybe this was the issue, though it os working great now !
Hi I am new to ezvid and tried to upload a file to youtube several times and each time at about 20% upload it keeps failing with an error message. There is no code. It just says that an error has occured. The file is only 3min in length with some text and music backing. I have tried the work arounds as previously mentioned including uninstalling ezvid, cleaning the registry and then reinstalling. All I am typing in to the required spaces is test. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated as I would like to continue to work with ezvid if my problem can be resolved.
Usually in these cases it turns out to be a problem with your your internet connect. Questions.
1) what is the exact error message? 2) are you 100% sure you are running the most recent version 0.7.5.1, downloaded from here: http://ezvid.com 3) please run this test on your internet connection and post the results
I am using ezvid for the first time. Everything went fine until the upload. All I get is a "404 error" message. It looks like others have had the same issue in the past. I do not have any strange characters or words in any of my fields. Any ideas anyone?
Yeah. This basically means that something is going wrong in the connection between your computer and YouTube. It usually seems to be related to an upstream problem for the user's actual internet connection. So basically, go to your friend's house with your laptop and try to upload from there.
Wow, this is frustrating. I did make a simple, short video and it did not upload either. I went to Flixtime and I had no problem uploading to You Tube. I upload from Camtasia just fine too. Any other ideas?
